Immerse yourself in nature and take on the challenge of an EcoZip Experience on the beautiful island of Waiheke.
*** NZ’s Premier Native Forest Zipline Tour! ***
EcoZip Adventures, set on the beautiful sub-tropical island of Waiheke, is a playground for nature lovers of all ages.
Your eco-adventure begins when we pick you up from the ferry terminal and take you on a 20-minute Waiheke Highlights Tour, which showcases the island’s very best beaches and vineyards as you make your way to Zip-HQ, located on the apex of Waiheke’s pretty Trig Hill.
Marvel at the spectacular 360 degree views of Waiheke Island and beyond from our viewing deck before making your way across the our airbridge to our take-off tower. After getting geared-up, and a short briefing, you’re all set to enjoy the first of our three, 200-metre long, state-of-the-art flying fox ziplines!
Feel the rush of zipping at speeds of up to 60kph as you are suspended high above the native forest canopy, with pristine beaches and Auckland City as an amazing backdrop. Our dual ziplines mean you can share the fun as you zip side-by-side with a friend - making this the most unique social activity! Our expert guides do all the work, leaving you free to simply relax in your comfy harness and admire the spectacular birds-eye views.
During our return to Zip-HQ you’ll be treated to an easy guided nature walk through ancient forest, where you’ll hear about the history of Waiheke and learn about our conservation of this incredible natural environment.
Our complimentary drop off service to a number of Waiheke locations will enable you to make the most of the rest of your time on the island.

great views! I only wished there would have been more zip tracks .....
Fraser and Kyle were fantastic guides with a great sense of humour. I am terrified of heights, but I didn't once feel scared. The whole experience was 100% right from the pick-up in the van and the views are spectacular. Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Truly an amazing experience.
It was super fun. The staff was knowledgeable and made you feel safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend this for a super time on the island.
Was such fun. My granddaughter & I loved every moment. The walk back thru the bush was relaxing & informative. Over all would highly recommend

Awesome activity
We did this activity with Tim and Devon. They were great. The zip lines were awesome fun increasing in height and length. The first one gets you over the initial nerves and the other two are great fun. After that you have a walk all the way up the top again zig zagging through the forest and learning about different types of trees and the work that goes into protecting and maintaining. Overall a really awesome adventure. On the way back you can stop into Oneroa and have lunch, we chose to go back to the ferry but we defs want to come back.
